A note on pronoun usage

Given that official sources have stated that Envy identifies as neither male nor female, Envy will identify using variations of "they" when the narrative of the post focuses on Envy's perspective.

If I ever use gender-specific pronouns, it will either be when Envy is shape shifted into another form, or writing in a manner that emphasizes how Envy appears to others, apart from their own thought processes/perspective (such as their default appearance, which appears male).

Additionally, it's fine if other characters perceive or refer to Envy as a male due their "default form's" appearance. This is what characters do in canon, and Envy makes no effort to correct people due to their desire for people to think their current appearance is their actual form.
